Our commitment

OSKA New York LLC is committed to making our website content accessible and user-friendly for everyone. If you are having difficulty viewing or navigating any part of this website, or if you notice any content, feature, or functionality that you believe is not fully accessible to individuals with disabilities, please call our Customer Service team at +1-212-799-3757 or email us at newyork@oska.com with “Disabled Access” in the subject line. Please include a description of the issue you encountered or suggestions for improvement.

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within five business days.

Conformance status

We work to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines are referenced by the European standard EN 301 549 and by the European Accessibility Act, and are the benchmark commonly applied to commercial websites in the United States.

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not fully meet the standard. We are actively working on the items listed below.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some limitations remain. We are aware of the following:

  • Form validation messages. Error messages on some forms, including checkout, may not be announced automatically by screen readers. Errors are shown visually and are reachable by keyboard.
  • Link text. Some links on category pages use short text such as “Read more”, which may not describe the destination when read out of context.
  • Third-party content. Some features are supplied by third parties and are not fully under our control. These include video playback, product search, cookie consent management, and payment processing. While we do not control these vendors, we raise accessibility issues with them and strongly encourage them to provide accessible content.

Video content

Videos on this website are decorative. They contain no spoken content, and they do not convey information that is not also available in the surrounding page text and product listings.

Videos play muted by default and can be paused, restarted, and controlled using standard player controls, which are operable by keyboard. Because these videos are silent and decorative, we do not provide captions or audio descriptions. Each video has a descriptive title that is available to assistive technology.

How we assess accessibility

OSKA New York LLC assesses the accessibility of this website by self-evaluation, combining automated testing tools with manual review, including keyboard-only navigation and screen reader testing.

Technical specifications

Accessibility of this website relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI-ARIA. The site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers and with assistive technologies such as screen readers and screen magnification software.
